Viv'Home, a builder of individual houses and a subsidiary of Eiffage Construction, has joined this environmental policy by proposing houses made from the upcycling of maritime containers.
The new range of Viv'Home houses is made up of houses built in maritime containers which combine energy performance, environmental performance, strong architectural design and which benefit from the guarantees of a CCMI contract.
The new house market is reinventing itself, with a shortage of labour, rising prices for materials and new environmental regulations (RE2020). The container house offers many advantages:
- It reduces construction times by 30% with a constant level of quality thanks to industrialized manufacturing in our own factory in Brittany.
- The energy performance of the container house allows for energy savings, it complies with the RE2020 and can go much further with the positive energy house.
- The container house respects the environment since it gives a second life to materials such as the maritime container and thus reduces the use of materials and water during its construction.
Viv'Home offers single-storey or multi-storey container houses, modular according to the desires of each person, with a wide choice of personalisation in the exterior finishes and cladding.
This range of houses is completed by container modules which are intended for house extension projects, studios intended for an office, a sports hall or to supplement income by renting. With this new range of container houses, Viv'Home is part of an ecological and economical construction method and offers its customers modular houses with an accessible design.
